摘要
Provided is an electronic lock system that supports media on which non-contact IC chips are mounted, the aforementioned electronic lock system being configured to permit the releasing and/or application of electronic locks by attesting and/or collating ID numbers pertaining to media on which non-contact IC chips are mounted. This electronic lock system is characterized by being provided with a reading device that reads either the reference numbers of media on which non-contact IC chips are mounted or unique information tied to data recorded on media on which non-contact IC chips are mounted; a collation unit for a an electronic collation communication foundation that serves to collate and process the aforementioned unique information which is read in the reading unit and/or unique information which is transmitted via communication networks or unique information which is originally recorded in the aforementioned reading unit; a memory device that serves to memorize the aforementioned unique information processed by the collation unit for the electronic collation communication foundation; a communication unit whereby the aforementioned unique information which is or is to be processed by the electronic collation communication foundation is transmitted and received via networks; a control unit that controls the releasing and/or application of locks on instructions from the electronic collation communication foundation; a locking unit that comprises locks controlled by the control unit; and an electrical storage unit that supplies electric power to the electronic collation communication foundation, the control unit, and the locking unit. The electronic lock system is also characterized in that the aforementioned locking unit and the aforementioned control unit which controls the releasing and/or application of locks are separated as auxiliary equipment.
