The embodiments of the present invention disclose an implementation method for non-transparent transmission, a non-transparent bridge and a communication system. The embodiments of the present invention use a link which is established between non-transparent bridges and connects in connect way of "root module-terminal device" and then use the link to implement the data transmission between the non-transparent bridges. During the process of link establishment and configuration, the two sides of the link can determine the master and slave without negotiation and perform configuration for themselves respectively because of the connection way of "root module-terminal device" used between the non-transparent bridges, thereby reducing the resource occupation and logic overhead in the process of link establishment and configuration; moreover such connection way can be supported by existing Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIE) protocol, which is easy to be understood and implemented by users.
