摘要

A demodulation method and apparatus at a receiver based on downlink transmission diversity mode in a Long-Term Evolution (LTE) system are provided. The method includes according to the number of the antennas of the transmitter and the receiver, dividing the received data from sub-carriers based on transmission diversity mode of each receiving antenna into multiple groups of received data; according to the demodulation algorithm of two-port-transmitting and single-port-receiving, demodulating each group of said multiple groups of received data individually, and obtaining a corresponding group of demodulated data; according to the channel condition of each group therein, implementing maximum ratio combining to the multiple groups of demodulated data corresponding to the same transmitting data, and obtaining a corresponding final demodulated data value. The demodulation method and apparatus of the present invention can ensure performance of the system adopting diversity algorithm in various kinds of antenna configurations, reduce cost and device complexity in practical application, and benefit project implementation.
