The invention relates to a ZigBee gateway which is connected to a ZigBee node via a ZigBee network and to an IP service server via an IP network, comprising a primitive transport layer module and a ZigBee network layer module. The primitive transport layer module of the ZigBee gateway extracts first data from a first primitive frame packet transported from the IP service server via the IP network. The ZigBee network layer module receives first data from the primitive transport layer module, and transports the first data to the ZigBee node. The IP service server interconnected with the ZigBee gateway via the IP network includes a primitive transport layer module and a ZigBee application layer module. The primitive transport layer module of the IP service server extracts first data from a first primitive frame packet transported from the ZigBee gateway via the IP network. The ZigBee application layer module receives the first data from the primitive transport layer module.
