Disclosed are a low carbon additive for a warm mix asphalt mixture which can enhance the high temperature physical properties of a warm mix asphalt mixture (WMA), can solve the problems of low temperature physical properties, and comprises a mixture of a polyethylene-based wax and a vegetable wax by a modified palm wax; a warm mixed asphalt prepared by using the same; and a preparation method of a warm mix asphalt mixture. The low carbon additive is prepared to comprise the polyethylene-based wax and the vegetable wax in a ratio of 20:1 to 1:2 by weight. The modified palm wax is the palm wax molten reacted with sodium hydroxide (NaOH) and stearic acid (CH3(CH2)16COOH). A warm mix asphalt mixture (WMA) can be effectively prepared by using the low carbon additive to enable reduction of heating energy necessary for the preparation of the warm mix asphalt mixture, thereby remarkably decreasing the amount of carbon dioxide generation, which is the main culprit of global warming.
