METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING LOCAL INTERNET PROTOCOL ACCESS CONNECTION MOBILITY

The present invention discloses a method for supporting local Internet Protocol access connection mobility. The method includes that: a new wireless side network element/ new home base station gateway judges whether the local Internet Protocol (IP) connection has mobility; based on the judgment result, mobility processing corresponding to the local IP access connection is supported; wherein, the judgment comprises comparing the network element information configured by the new wireless side network element/ new home base station gateway itself with the obtained network element information, thus the judgment is realized. The present invention discloses a system for supporting local IP access connection mobility, in the system, a judgment unit is used in the new wireless side network element/ new home base station gateway for judging whether the local IP connection has mobility; and a mobility processing unit is used for supporting, based on the judgment result, the mobility processing corresponding to the local IP access connection. The method and system of the present invention enable support for mobility of the local IP access connection.
