Method for deterministically modelling the flows in porous media and the properties of these porous media by generating an equivalent artificial porous medium (network) from structural inputs. The inputs comprise a set of pore volumes and sizes deduced from the measurement without having to measure their representativity, which is calculated from a novel all‑MICP analytical expression. This representativity associated with the structural inputs makes it possible to configure the network in a single‑value manner. The method is broken down into five steps: determination of the composition; MICP analysis calculation; configuration of the network; calculation of the flow parameters; and deterministic adjustment of the composition. The method according to the invention is particularly intended for optimizing oil recovery, for managing underground water, for studying soil decontamination; for ore recovery by leaching and for the design of filters, etc.
