Disclosed are: an electrode material which enables the production of an electricity storage device that has large discharge capacity, while having small voltage decrease caused by the resistance even in cases when the discharge is carried out with a large current; a method for producing the electrode material; and an electricity storage device which has high energy density and high output performance at the same time. Specifically disclosed is an electricity storage device which is produced using a polymer radical material-activated carbon-conductive material composite body for an electrode. The polymer radical material-activated carbon-conductive material composite body is obtained by dropping or pouring a starting material solution, in which a polymer radical material that has a radical partial structure in a reduced state is dissolved or swollen and activated carbon and a conductive material are dispersed or dissolved, into a solution in which the polymer radical material, the activated carbon and the conductive material are not dissolved or swollen, thereby producing a deposit that contains the polymer radical material, the activated carbon and the conductive material.
