The device has a dual rail system provided with rails (1, 2) for an upper jaw and a lower jaw (4). An elastic telescopic system (3) is articulatedly connected to one of the rails with both ends. The telescopic system includes two telescopic units that are arranged vestibularly and provided with a ball head at an end side. A telescope sleeve carrying the ball head is provided with an inner telescope screw that lies against a pressure spring and is adjustable in the ball head over a borehole. The rails are made of anti-allergic plastic in an injection molding process.
