HIGH LIGHT FLUX COLD-CATHODE FLUORESCENT ILLUMINATE LAMP

A high lumen output (of up to 800 ∼ 50,000 lumen) CCFL illumination luminaire includes at least one CCFL. The CCFL tube has outside diameter between 5 ∼ 16mm, a length that is 200 ∼ 1,000 times its outside diameter. The electron emission area of the electrode of the CCFL is between 100 - 2,000 mm2. The ratio of electrode current to its electron emission area is between 0.01 ∼ 0.2 mA/mm2, and the operation current density of the CCFL is between 0.8 ∼ 8 mA/mm2, where the operating frequency is between 50Hz ∼ 100kHz.
