SECURE METHOD FOR DISCOVERING AND ACCESSING NEARBY MOBILE DEVICES USING A VISUAL CHANNEL

The invention relates to a secure method allowing a mobile device to access a nearby client device, comprising the following steps: (a) upon reception of a pre-determined stimulus, the mobile device generates a code containing security credentials and a contact address in a server; (b) the code and address are represented on the screen of the mobile device; (c) the information represented is detected and extracted by the client device; (d) the client device is connected to the contact address using the aforementioned credentials; and (e) the client obtains the information contained in the contact address. According to the invention, the server device can indicate the mode by which the contents or services associated therewith can be accessed, both if they are offered directly from the device or from another external element.
