Disclosed are an apparatus and method for analyzing research information about a researcher. According to the present invention, analysis information related to researchers - thesis titles, authors, affiliated institutions, bibliographic information, year, abstracts, country information - is used to analyze information extracted from researcher information, topic information, and year information as data according to significance, similarity, and frequency, and provide the data as a UI, in order to enable a more detailed view of the trends in a researcher's field of interest, allow the comprehensive viewing of main research topics and research topics of interest of researchers forming a researcher network, and enable searching of only researchers without having to perform many search steps, in order to also simultaneously view other experts in the main research fields of the researchers.
