The invention relates to a method for keeping the routing tables of the nodes of an unstable dissemination network up to date, the nodes unpredictably joining or leaving said network. A node periodically sends a synchronisation message to all other remote nodes, wherein the sending period of a synchronisation message to all other remote nodes increases when the network tends to stabilise, the remote nodes are all synchronised and the local routing table does not change. A node exceptionally sends a synchronisation message to another remote node in particular when said other node is desynchronised. The invention can be used for heterogeneous wide networks.
