The invention lies in the field of nanotechnology with a view to use in photovoltaics and optoelectronics. The method according to the invention makes it possible to produce semiconductor nanoparticles directly (in situ) in a wide variety of polymer matrices. The nano composite layers thus obtained can be used for producing semiconductor components, such as for example solar cells.
