The aim of the invention is to provide an dentistry instrument including two components intended to be assembled, one female having a cavity delimited by an internal wall and the other male designed to penetrate said cavity, characterized in that said male component has a securing portion having at least one protruding radial edge, said securing portion being deformable in a radial direction from an insertion configuration to a securing configuration wherein said protruding radial edge is brought into contact with said internal wall so as to score same, and in that said internal wall has a securing area designed to bring about a deformation of said securing portion to bring the same into the securing configuration, the securing area of the cavity being made of a material having hardness less than or equal to that of the material of which said securing portion is made.
