Disclosed is a microfastener production method for producing a microfastener that consists of a first element, which has two or more columnar protrusions with a prescribed space therebetween on one surface of a base material, and a second element, which has protrusions of a shape that can be inserted into the space between adjacent protrusions of the first element on the surface thereof, such that the first element and the second element can be joined by meshing the protrusions of the first and second elements, wherein said protrusions have a maximum diameter of 500μm or less. The microfastener production method involves the formation of the protrusions by means of a stereolithography process. Thus, a microfastener in which microstructures can be joined, a microfastener production method, and a microfastening element can be provided.
