In particular, the invention relates to a grinding body (1) that has additional particles (4), in particular additional particles (4) that can be obtained from grinding bodies, in a predetermined region (3). The invention further relates to a method for producing said grinding bodies (1) and to grinding devices that contain grinding bodies (1) according to the invention, and to the use of additional particles (4) made from recycled grinding bodies (1) for producing said grinding bodies.
