Provided are a plant nutritional state diagnosis method and a plant nutritional state diagnosis device that can quickly and accurately diagnose the nutritional state of a plant. Also provided are a plant nutritional state recovery method and a plant nutritional state recovery device that can quickly and effectively improve the nutritional state of a plant. The provided plant nutritional state recovery device is used in the provided plant nutritional state recovery method, which is characterized by comprising: (a) a step in which the biopotential of a plant is detected at a comparison frequency and at least one detection frequency; (b) a step in which the nutritional state of the plant is diagnosed from the biopotential detected at the comparison frequency and the biopotential(s) detected at the detection frequency or frequencies; and (c) if the plant was diagnosed in step (b) as being malnourished, a step in which a stimulus is applied via flashing light at a frequency of 44 Hz or less, improving the nutritional state of the plant, and a means for supplying the deficient nutrients.
