Disclosed is a conveyance device which conveys a sample to be analyzed while being housed in a sample container, comprising: a determination unit which determines whether or not the sample container is located at a first and a second sampling positions where sampling from the sample container is performed for a first and a second analytical processing and outputs the determining results as a first and a second sampling position data; and a sample container discriminating unit which performs individual discrimination for the sample containers on the conveyance route of the sample containers and outputs the discriminating results as individual discrimination data. And, whether or not the sample containers are to be conveyed to the second sampling position is confirmed based on the first and second sampling position data, the individual discrimination data, and data representing a given conveyance amount which is calculated in accordance with the first and second sampling positions.
