Electronic circuit and method for designing an electronic circuit, - having a first source element (Q1), a second source element (Q2), a first matching network (M1) and a second matching network (M2), - in which the first matching network (M1) and the second matching network (M2) are designed by a method using the Poincaré distance, - in which the second source element (Q2) is designed to output a signal (S) with a centre frequency (f), - in which the load (L) has a load impedance (ZL), - in which the second matching network (M2) has line-like series elements (LS1...LS20) which carry the signal (S), - wherein the line-like series elements (LS1...LS20) have only line impedances (ZS1...ZS20) lower than the load impedance (ZL) or - wherein a sum of the electrical lengths of those line-like series elements (LS1...LS20) which each have a line impedance (ZS1...ZS20) which is greater than the load impedance (ZL) is lower than a quarter of a wavelength (λ) which is associated with the signal (S).
