The device comprises: a light source (55); a first opaque screen (65) with a transparent line (63); a second opaque screen (67) with a plurality of transparent diastimeter curves (71) that intersect the transparent line provided on said first opaque screen defining with said line a plurality of intersection points through which the light radiation emitted from the source passes, thus forming a plurality of light points. The first opaque screen (65) and the second opaque screen (67) are movable one with respect to the other to vary the position of the lines according to the reciprocal position of the two opaque screens. The device furthermore comprises an operating mechanism to move the opaque screens (65, 67) one with respect to the other. This operating mechanism comprises a rotating shaft (83) connected by means of an articulated system (87) to one of the opaque screens (65, 67), which rotates due to the effect of the rotation of the rotating shaft.
