The device (14) has a cooking module (20) including magnetrons (28) for generating microwaves in wavelengths, and a transfer module (18) including a continuous conveyor (22) constituted by a closed loop continuous band (26) formed between two pulleys (24), where the band is deformable and includes a U-shaped section. One of the pulleys is motorized to displace the conveyor, and the magnetrons include wave guides (30) for diffusing the emitted microwaves with an orientation adapted on a viewed zone.
