The hearing aid (10) has a listener (11) for delivery of an acoustic signal (S1). A unit (20) is provided, which simulates the hearing level for normal hearing, where it changes acoustic signal delivered by the listener according to hearing level in such a manner that it notices normal hearing. An independent claim is also included for a method for simulation of a hearing level of heavy hearing.
