The device (1) has a movement element implementing a movement relatively to a frame (2) during an operation. A seat device (9) positions body parts (25a, 25b) i.e. legs, of a person (7), relative to the frame. Connection elements detachably connect respective body parts of the person with the movement element. The body parts are displaced in a motion relatively to the frame by the movement element. A drive device (11) for driving the movement element is designed such that the movement of the body parts is implemented partially under water during the operation.
