NEWS UPDATE SYSTEM FOR DIGITAL NEWSPAPER TERMINAL AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A news update system and a method thereof of a digital newspaper terminal for minimizing the power consumption are provided to control the wake-up interval of the wireless communications unit and receive the news broadcasted from news AP. CONSTITUTION: A digital newspaper terminal(120) comprises a wireless communications unit and a controller(125). The wireless communications unit is converted at the constant cycle into a wake-up state. The controller converts the wireless communications unit into the wakeup state. The controller receives a news from AP(Access Point)(110). If the news reception is completed, the controller converts the wireless communications unit into the sleep state.
