PHYLLOSPHAERAE SP. NOV CBMB27, A NOVEL MICROORGANISM OF METHYLOBACTERIUM FAMILY, AND USES THEREOF

PURPOSE: A Methylobacterium phyllosphaerae sp. nov CBMB27 isolated from phyllosphere of rice plant is provided to promote plant growth and to improve quality. CONSTITUTION: A Methylobacterium phyllosphaerae sp. nov CBMB27 is isolated from phyllosphere of rice plant. The nucleotide sequence of 16S rRNA of the novel stain is nucleotide is denoted by sequence number 1. The deposit number of the novel stain is KCC91461P. A microorganism formulation for promoting plant growth contains the Methylobacterium phyllosphaerae sp. nov CBMB27 or culture medium thereof as an active ingredient.
