CALIBRATION BLOCK (REFERENCE BLOCK) AND CALIBRATION PROCEDURE FOR PHASED-ARRAY ULTRASONIC INSPECTION

PURPOSE: A correction test piece for phased array ultrasonic flaw detection performing the sensitivity correction is provided to measure the incident point and angle of refraction of the probe and perform the time base correction. CONSTITUTION: A scale is arranged at the center of R side for measuring the incident point of a probe. The D1.5 hole is arranged to the constant interval in order to measure the angle of refraction. R25 page and R50 page are arranged for the time base correction. The holes of D3.0 and D2.0 process in order to be used for the establishment of the basis sensitivity. The probe contact side is manufactured according to the curvature of the test body. The probe contact side is manufactured to the same material as the test body.
