PURPOSE: A method for cleaning a membrane filter is provided to shortly and effectively clean a bio-fouling contaminant by supercritical fluid.;CONSTITUTION: A supercritical fluid providing unit(10) provides supercritical fluid to a cleaning chamber(37). The cleaning chamber of a membrane filter cleaning unit(30) receives the supercritical fluid. The cleaning chamber cleans a membrane filter contaminated by bio-fouling. A contaminant collecting chamber(49) receives a contaminant and the supercritical fluid. The contaminant collecting chamber receives the contaminant.
