DISCRIMINATION OF MC1R GENOTYPES OF THE JINDO USING ALLELE-SPECIFIC PROBES AND PRIMERS

PURPOSE: A method for determining MC1R genotype of Jindo dog is provided to distribute system for lineage of fur color. CONSTITUTION: A method for determining MC1R genotype of Jindo dog comprises: a step of performing two or more allele specific-real time PCR using the primer or probe of SNP allele of fur color(GenBank NM001014282) of Jindo dog; and a step of analyzing by fluorescence. The allele of the SNP is G286A, G313A, C470A, G790A or C916T. The primer set comprises a sequence of sequence numbers 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8 and 9 and 10. A probe set comprises a sequence of sequence numbers 11 and 12, 13 and 14, 15 and 16, 17 and 18, and 19 and 20.
