METHOD AND CAMERA DEVICE FOR CAMERA GAIN CONTROL AND SHUTTER SPEED CONTROL BY MEASURING SKIN BRIGHTNESS

PURPOSE: A method and a camera device for controlling camera gain and shutter speed by measuring skin brightness are provided to detect a location of a face and the brightness near the face in order to control camera gain and shutter speed optimally. CONSTITUTION: A photographing unit(100) includes a lens and an image sensor to acquire an image. A face detection unit(200) sets up a scan region near a face from the acquired image. A brightness measurement unit(300) measures the brightness of the face based on the scanned image near the face. A control module judges whether or not the brightness measurement value is an optimal value in order to control camera gain and shutter speed.
