PURPOSE: An image measuring system for inspecting the surface defect of vehicle molding-parts is provided so that a lighting unit and a camera are installed on the head of a 3D movable robot, position control is possible through the correction of program and thus the invention is easily applied to a variety of surface curvatures of product.;CONSTITUTION: An image measuring system for inspecting the surface defect of vehicle molding-parts comprises a robot(20), an image taking unit(30), a control unit and a read unit. The robot makes 3D movement in the measured area(14) of a product(1). The image taking unit comprises a lighting unit(6) and a camera(8), which are connected to the head of the robot so that their positions can be controlled. The control unit controls the operations of the robot, the lighting unit and the camera.
