HULL-VIBRATION REDUCING SHIP, CAPABLE OF REDUCING THE HULL VIBRATION DUE TO PRESSURE WAVE WHEN A PROPELLER ROTATES

PURPOSE: A hull-vibration reducing ship is provided to prevent pressure wave from becoming transferred to hull in rotation of a propeller since a bubble layer is formed between the propeller and the external board of hull, which is located on the propeller.;CONSTITUTION: A hull-vibration reducing ship comprises a compressed air generating unit(160) and a nozzle(180). The compressed air generating unit is installed in hull, which is located on a propeller, and generates the compressed air due to resonant vibration by the pressure wave, which is generated when the propeller rotates. The nozzle receives the compressed air and discharges it onto the propeller. The discharged compressed forms a bubble layer between the propeller and the external board of the hull, which is located on the propeller.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
