APPARATUS AND A METHOD FOR COMPENSATING DIRECT-CURRENT VOLTAGE OFFSET IN THE DIRECT CONVERSION RECEIVER OF A WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, CAPABLE OF PREVENTING THE CHANGE OF THE DIRECT-CURRENT VOLTAGE OFFSET GENERATED FROM LOW FREQUENCY NOISE
PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for compensating direct-current(DC) voltage offset in the direction conversion receiver of a wireless communication system are provided to compensate DC voltage offsets in all channel frequency band with one DC voltage offset value in one channel frequency.;CONSTITUTION: A first DC voltage offset generated by a leaked local oscillating signal, which is flowed in a frequency converter(202), is measured. The size of the first DC voltage offset is classified by frequencies. The classified size of the first DC voltage offset is fed-back to the frequency converter in order to compensate the first DC voltage offset. A second DC voltage offset generated by a low-band pass filter(205), which is located at the rear end of the frequency converter, is measured. The size of the measured second DC voltage offset is fed-back to the low-band pass filter in order to compensate the second DC voltage offset.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
