PURPOSE: A magnetic abrasive powder and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to ensure excellent polishing property and profitability as well as enough polishing pressure.;CONSTITUTION: A magnetic abrasive powder comprises a magnetic metal powder and a mixed powder coated on the surface of the magnetic metal powder. The mixed powder includes a metal powder and a carbide-based powder. The metal powder is such that the metal oxide powder is reduced and sintered. The carbide-based powder is one or more selected from the group consisting of silicon carbide(SiC), titanium carbide(TiC) and tungsten carbide(WC).;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
