PURPOSE: An apparatus for detecting the location of a rotor and a brushless motor including the same are provided to improve the location detecting precision of the rotor by generating the output wave of a sine wave directly from a sensor magnet.;CONSTITUTION: A sensor magnet(110) is installed to the rotary shaft(31) of a rotor. The sensor magnet is composed of the combination of magnet units(111). A linear hole element(120) converts a sensing signal into an electric signal and outputs the electric signal to a controller. The linear hole element is arranged toward the circumference of the sensor magnet. The linear hole element generates the output wave of a sine wave using the sensing signal.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
