PURPOSE: An expandable prewinder assembly capable of infinitely adjusting the installation of helically coiled wire inserts is provided to guarantee infinite exact stop positions of a screw-type insert on a prewinder.;CONSTITUTION: An expandable prewinder assembly comprises a body(22), an adapter(38), a prewinder(14), and a mandrel(16). The body connects to the driving tool. The adapter connects the body to be separable. The prewinder slides to the inside or outside of the body.
