摘要

PURPOSE: A composition of an agent for inducing plant disease resistance, containing butyl L-pyroglutamate is provided to has resistance to plant disease and enhance productivity of crop. CONSTITUTION: A composition of an agent for inducing plant disease resistance contains butyl L-pyroglutamate of chemical formula 1 as an active ingredient. The butyl L-pyroglutamate is obtained from Klepsiella oxytoca strain(deposit number KACC 91265P). A method for isolating butyl L-pyroglutamate comprises: a step of extracting culture medium of Klepsiella oxytoca C1036 strain(deposit number KACC 91265P) with ethyl acetate; a step of extracting obtained aqueous solution layer with butanol at pH 2.0~4.5; and a step of performing ODS column chromatography, solid phase extraction and high speed liquid chromatography. The plant disease is Pectobacterium carotovorum subsp. carotovorum SCC1-mediated disease.
