PURPOSE: A screensaver which is controlled by smile, a method thereof, and a recording medium on which the method is recorded are provided to relieve the stress of a user by inducing the smile of a user through the screen saver.;CONSTITUTION: A photographing unit(10) photographs a front facie of a user, and an image input unit(20) receives a face image from the photographing unit. An image determination unit(30) judges the state of the face from the face image. If the face is in a smile state, a screen saver driving unit(40) stops the operation of the screen saver and returns the screen saver into a previous screen state of the computer system.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
