摘要

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling a bundle former are provided to minimize the friction between the chain of the bundle former and a reinforcing bar since the reinforcing bar is bundled after the rotation of a roller by inertia completely stops.;CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling a bundle former comprises a sensor(720), a controller(780) and a measuring unit(760). The sensor is installed on the front end of a weight measuring stand and senses the reinforcing bar, which is transferred to the weight measuring stand by a roller table, which consists of a plurality of motors(120) and a plurality of rollers. The controller stops the motors if the sensor senses the reinforcing bar and the controller controls the bundle former(200) to bundle the reinforcing bar if a predetermined time passes after the motors stopped. The measuring unit starts measuring time if the motors stop and then the measuring unit transfers the measured time to the controller.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
