METHOD FOR USING A KSC5601 MODE AND A UCS2 MODE IN TRANSMITTING AND RECEIVING A SHORT MESSAGE BY ISSUING A SMART CARD

PURPOSE: A method for suing a KSC 5601 mode and a UCS2 mode in transmitting and receiving a short message by issuing a smart card is provided to accurately display the short message by changing a coding mode of the short message.;CONSTITUTION: A smart card receives an SMS(Short Message Service) message from a mobile terminal. The smart card confirms a coding type of the SMS message(S312). The smart card calls a coding type converting program. The smart card converts a coding mode of the SMS message into a coding mode loaded to the mobile terminal(S322).
