PURPOSE: Intelligent electric fan control is provided to efficiently control the fan speed according to changes in distance between a user and an electric fan by using an ultrasonic sensor.;CONSTITUTION: An intelligent electric fan system comprises an electric fan, a controller for processing sensor input, a driver for a power semiconductor device, a controller for driving an electric motor and a system driving power supply. The electric fan comprises a direct-current motor and an ultrasonic sensor. The controller for processing sensor input processes gate signals and ultrasonic wave.
