HIGH SPEED AND LOW SMALL-SIZED BICYCLE IN WHICH THE POSITION OF A RIDER IS LOWERED FOR HIGH SPEED TRAVELING

PURPOSE: A high speed and low small-sized bicycle is provided to increase the instantaneous acceleration and enable continuous high-speed traveling through even utilization of leg muscles.;CONSTITUTION: A front wheel(3) and a rear wheel(4) are fixed by axels to be located in the front and rear sides of a saddle(2). A crank shaft(6) is fixed behind a head tube(5) at a distance of 60~98cm from the center of the saddle in order to prevent pedals from interfering with the front wheel. An elliptical gear(18) is installed in the crank shaft, wherein the ratio between the short side and the long side of the elliptical gear is over 1:1.3 and less than 1:1.1. A crank is fixed within -10~25° based on the short side of the elliptical gear. A handle(10) is installed so that the center of mass is located in the front side about the pelvis of a rider.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
