PURPOSE: An ARQ feedback information transmission and reception method is provided to minimize the waste of resources by allocating minimum resources for the ARQ feedback of a terminal.;CONSTITUTION: A base station requests the transmission of an ARQ feedback which indicates whether the reception process is successful at a terminal by polling the ARQ feedback when an ARQ block is transmitted(S301). An ARQ Polling Timeout, which indicates the time to expect the ARQ feedback, can begin in the base station. The base station transmits the minimum resource allocation information for the ARQ feedback to the terminal through an A-MAP(S302). The terminal determines whether the reception process of the ARQ block is successful.
