NOVEL NONCENTROSYMMETRIC POLAR ZINC CHLORIDE WITH ALIGNED ZNCL4 TETRAHEDRAL CHAIN AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A novel asymmetric polar compound of chain structure with one direction-oriented ZnCl_4 tetrahedron is provided. CONSTITUTION: A novel asymmetric polar compound is denoted by chemical formula 1({N(C_nH_2n+1)_4^+MX_2/2X_2/1^1-}). In chemical formula 1, M is a transition metal and X is halogen. A method for preparing the compound of chemical formula 1 comprises: a step of contacting tetra alkyl ammonium halide, metal precursor and strong acid under the presence of a solvent for hydrothermal reaction; a step of collecting crystal from the reactant. The solvent is water. The tetra alkyl ammonium halide is denoted by chemical formula 2(N(C_nH_2n+1)_4X).
