PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to implement optimum power consumption by determining whether charge sharing is used or not.;CONSTITUTION: An LCD panel is divided into first, second and third regions. A first data integrated circuit manages the operation of the first region. A second data IC manages the driving of the second region. A third data integrated circuit manages the driving of the third region. A timing controller generates first and second selection signals. The usage of charge sharing is determined by the first and the second selection signal. The timing controller independently controls first to third data IC.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
