PURPOSE: A rubbing method of a liquid display element and a rubbing device are provided to protect manufacturing device and rubbing failure by preventing a glass substrate thickness to be putted into another product in advance.;CONSTITUTION: A glass substrate(3) is mounted on a stage(2). A rubbing roller is mounted on a header frame(1). A sensing sensor unit is mounted to the header frame.
