PURPOSE: A digital camera and a method for controlling the same are provided to reflect intention of a photographer in memory full state, one part of stored data or a recording medium is deleted.;CONSTITUTION: A recording medium(140) stores data. A memory checking unit(145) detects residual memory capacity which is permitted to a recording medium. The memory checking unit outputs an interrupt signal of a memory full. A digital signal processor(150) detects an interrupt signal. The digital signal processor deletes a pre-stored data of a recording medium. After a memory full, the digital signal processor stores the acquired recent data.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
