PURPOSE: A clutchless variable capacity swash plate type compressor is provided to improve the performance of an air conditioning system by efficiently reducing noise and pulsations by blocking a noise creating area inside a muffler.;CONSTITUTION: A clutchless variable capacity swash plate type compressor comprises a cylinder block(110), a front housing(120), a rear housing(130), a rotary shaft(140), a piston, a muffler, and a check valve. The front housing is installed in the leading end of the cylinder block to form a crank room. The rear housing is formed on the back end of the cylinder block and has a suction chamber and an ejection room. The piston receives the rotation of the rotary shaft through the swash plate and compresses refrigerant in the cylinder bore of the cylinder block.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
