PURPOSE: A method and a device for controlling content based on a time line using a nonlinear time line are provided to effectively control and manipulate content in a limited area using a curve. CONSTITUTION: A non linear time line is generated/displayed on a screen(S100). A time line bar generated on the time line moves along with the non linear time line according to touch gesture of a user corresponding to the non linear time line(S200). Corresponding content is displayed along with a location of the moving time line bar(S300).
