PURPOSE: A variable tether device of a curtain airbag is provided to contact the circumference of a first plate and a movement preventing wall of a bracket and to prevent the horizontal direction movement.;CONSTITUTION: A variable tether device of a curtain airbag comprises a trim(110), a variable tether and a bracket(130). The trim is supported on a side panel(S) of the vehicle interior. The trim holds the curtain airbag. The variable tether has a socket unit(121) and a rod unit.
